For 1000€ 3 night stay, I for sure can find a better accommodation for family. Strike 1=I was placed immediately next to the pool (my reservation included a crib, maybe my expectations are too high? Loud outdoor pool--baby/toddler on reservation.. secondly, upon check in, 4 hour drive down, and I get to check myself in and fill in the iPad instead of the front desk help? Third issue, zero control over parking spots--which they (Vaya) assign to guests? So--have fun when you come back from dinner and have to park your car on the street and ask the front desk where to park because someone has taken your spot. Vaya has been on the decline for a while, this one locks it in--never a Vaya again (Solden, Kuhtai, and now here... sad.)
Dear Gary, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your stay. Regarding the check-in process, we would briefly like to explain that check-in is intentionally completed via tablet. For data protection reasons, guests are required to enter and confirm their personal information themselves. We understand, however, that this digital process may feel less personal, particularly after a long journey, and we are sorry that you did not feel properly welcomed upon arrival. We are also sorry about the parking situation. Each guest is assigned a specific parking space with an individual space number. Unfortunately, we do find that some guests do not follow this allocation and use parking spaces assigned to other guests. This can understandably cause difficulties, particularly when the hotel is busy. Nevertheless, we would have expected our team to assist you more proactively and find a quick and convenient solution for you. We are particularly sorry about your experience regarding the suite and your request for a crib. We completely understand that being located directly next to the pool is far from ideal when travelling with a young child. Given your request, we should have done our best to take your family’s needs and the location of the room into consideration. Your honest feedback is valuable to us and highlights areas where we need to improve both our processes and our service. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you and your family all the best. Best regards VAYA ZIllertal Team
